Low Carbon strengthens executive team with the appointment of Annabel Wiscarson

Annabel Wiscarson joins Low Carbon to help accelerate the creation of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure

Global renewable energy company Low Carbon has announced the appointment of Annabel Wiscarson as CEO of its Low Carbon Investment Management (“LCIM”) arm, beginning April 2024. Annabel will sit on the Low Carbon Board and report to founder and Chief Executive of Low Carbon, Roy Bedlow.

Formerly of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), where she led the Investor Relations Group for five years, Annabel has extensive experience of working for large global investment management companies. Prior to GIP, she established and ran IFM Investors’ Global Relationship Group in Europe after beginning her career at Macquarie.

The appointment of Annabel follows the recent hire of Neil Brown as Head of Capital Formation. Neil – who also reports to Roy Bedlow – will continue to focus on building and deepening relationships with investors globally, to help achieve Low Carbon’s ambition to deploy large-scale capital into renewables.
