Together with a local team of experts, Low Carbon launched Grid System Services in 2018 with the sole aim of implementing and expanding grid-scale battery storage projects in Ireland. Since then, Low Carbon and Grid System Services have been developing, constructing, acquiring and operating grid-scale battery storage projects in Ireland and are committed to the continued deployment of a large portfolio of new projects.
