Solar installation at the National Museum of Bermuda
Low Carbon has had a long-standing relationship with the National Museum of Bermuda.
Our partners at the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team visited the museum to see the solar installation that we helped create in 2017.
Watch the video, as Emirates GBR CCO Jo Grindley takes you through our climate relationship with Bermuda and the lasting solar legacy we helped leave behind on the island.
The installation consists of 194 high performance solar panels along the museum’s ramparts, and they were installed while Low Carbon was the official renewable energy partner to America’s Cup team competing in Bermuda that year.
Now the relationship and aspirations have grown and Low Carbon helped to great a portable renewable energy installation that travels with Emirates GBR team and takes their operations completely off grid.
We have also helped create an installation built in Barcelona for the 37th America's Cup.
Low Carbon is helping to create a world powered entirely by renewable energy.
