The Scottish Centre for Carbon Storage is a Research Centre established in Edinburgh to deliver the R&D capability to create containment solutions to complement emissions reduction strategies.

The key expertise of SCCS is in geological injection, storage and monitoring. The SCCS also has active links to Edinburgh work on carbon trading, regulation, and capture process engineering.
